About Us
Sea Street was dreamed up by the owner, Christa Holmes, a lifelong crafter and lover of all things old and heavy. We love the vibrancy and beauty of the coast and would love to help others bring that energy into their home through locally made home decor, craft items, and craft supplies. We are a gathering space for the coastal community to craft together and share ideas and projects, fueled by coffee and dreams.

Owner's Story
Christa is a lifelong lover of crafting, animals, and retail. Her first job at 15 years old was at a small Ben Franklin craft store in Idaho, where she used most of her paycheck to buy scrapbooking supplies. Her subsequent education focused on business finance, managment, and leadership, and she's been working primarily in corporate retail for most of her career. Her relocation to the enchanting Oregon Coast and investment in a big old beautiful retail building were powered by her desire to live her best life right now and every day after that, for the forseeable future. She is elated to be a retailer in an industry she loves, in a place that inspires her, surrounded by an engaged and uplifitng craft community. Christa's favorite craft categories are papercrafting (scrapbooking, junk journaling), and sewing (garments, home decor, and quilting). She has a vast collection of vintage sewing and crafting materials to share and loves to learn more about current and antiquated crafting technniques. Her soft spot is her fur babies, Rainiera (small terrier mix) and Cascadia (large Schnoodle). She can be found with them every morning on the beach.
